Website builders all begin with a theme, and the Weebly website carries hundreds of beautiful, creative website templates that can be customized to meet your intended aesthetic.
You can select text, images, buttons, product displays, and other site elements from the interface sidebar. Simply drag the item into place and adjust as needed.
Although sites hosted on the free Weebly.com plan will display Weebly ads and come with a Weebly.com subdomain, all paid plans are ad-free with a complimentary domain name.
Free plan users get 500MB of storage while all other plan holders feel the freedom of unlimited bandwidth and storage. If you're an aspiring online store owner, know that ecommerce features advance with each plan upgrade.
While the option to display up to 10 products with a 3% transaction fee comes standard, you can get up to unlimited products, zero transaction fees, and advanced shipping and inventory options with higher-tier packages. Weebly is wonderful for beginners.
Once you outgrow the basic plans, it would behoove you to consider migrating to a host that includes Weebly in its packages. It'll be more cost-effective as your site traffic and revenue increase.

Weebly is incredibly easy to use — a feature we appreciate most about the popular site-building platform. The interface is entirely browser based. You log into your account at Weebly.com and are greeted by a series of options to point and click, or drag and drop, with your mouse to move site elements into place. And it all begins with a theme, of which there are hundreds of industry-specific, unique-looking options.
Obviously, the most appealing price point is free. Everyone loves free! It's free to get started with Weebly.com, but your site will run Weebly ads and be found at a Weebly subdomain. You just have to upgrade to the most basic Starter plan to benefit from a free domain name for your ad-free site; however, the pricing for Weebly's paid plans can't hold a candle to the top cheap hosts out there.
The Weebly platform is trusted by nearly one million website owners at last count. Structurally, it's extremely reliable, though it doesn't tout the uptime rates you get from full-fledged web hosts. That being said, the support options aren't exactly on par with popular, price-competitive shared hosts you could be trusting with your site as an alternative. While there are tons of community forums, FAQs, and support articles for the Weebly builder online, we recommend you consider a hosting plan that includes the Weebly site builder for free.

Weebly.com is essentially the welcome wagon of the website builder world. It's trusted by thousands of website owners, as well as the web hosting providers that have elected to offer the software as a value-added service to their plans. Weebly brings what-you-see-is-what-you-get simplicity and all the marketing and eCommerce tools a first-time site owner could possibly want. While some of the higher-tier paid plans are not economically competitive with the top shared hosts on the market, the Starter and Pro plans are pretty good values.
