BGOcloud is on a Mission to Pair Innovative MikroTik Hosting and High-Performance Hosting Solutions with Superior Customer Service

Bgocloud Prioritizes Customer Support

TL; DR: BGOcloud, a provider of high-speed shared, virtual, and dedicated servers, is determined to perfect the art of customer support and help its diverse set of customers grow their businesses. In addition to the company’s robust and affordable hosting solutions, its MikroTik Cloud-Based Routers empower users to create, route, and secure anonymous networks, as well as enjoy online security and freedom. With plans for expansion into international markets, BGOcloud is poised to gain customer trust on a global scale.

Ivan Angov just can’t quit the hosting industry.

The future entrepreneur got his first taste of the market while working for a Bulgarian host from 2011 until 2014. In 2015, however, he left the hosting scene to secure a lucrative sysadmin position at BGO Software. The opportunity was great, but Ivan quickly began to crave more hosting-related work.

Ivan Angov gave us the scoop on BGOcloud, which provides affordable, lightning-fast hosting solutions.

“I still had that passion, so I came up with the idea to create a small spinoff company that initially covered the hosting needs of customers within BGO Software,” Ivan said.

That company, BGOcloud, got its start after Ivan stumbled upon an abandoned server in BGO Software’s datacenter. Armed only with a passion for hosting and the server — which he named Genesis to represent new beginnings — Ivan set off to explore his newfound opportunity.

BGOcloud soon expanded the company to serve clients outside of BGO Software. “The first year was a bit slow, but last year we gained traction within the market,” Ivan said. “We’re getting more customers; launching services like WordPress, Drupal, and Magento hosting; and offering virtual and dedicated servers.”

But Ivan said what really makes BGOcloud stand out are the responsible and friendly attitudes of his staff. After all, the company aims to master the art of customer service by offering friendly consultation services and helpful support.

BGOcloud also strives to help customers grow their businesses through scalable solutions tailored to diverse needs. In addition, users can create, route, and secure an anonymous network using the company’s MikroTik Cloud-Based Routers. With a full portfolio of services and plans for worldwide expansion into global markets, BGOcloud is ready to take on an even larger segment of the hosting market.

Perfecting the Art of Customer Support with Professional Advice

As the hosting market continues to face consolidation, Ivan said it is becoming harder for customers to get the support, individual attention, and personalized services they need.

“The person who is struggling the most in the face of these acquisitions is the end customer,” Ivan said. “When you’re buying from a big company, they have policies in place to try to oversell. It’s tough to get the kind of real help you would receive from a friend you trust — and that’s the main thing we’re trying to overcome.”

To gain a competitive advantage in a saturated market, BGOcloud focuses on helping customers boost their online presence through ridiculously good support coupled with a robust knowledge base. Many of the company’s clients start with easy-to-use shared plans, which include an intuitive control panel; free backups; integration with WordPress, Drupal, and Magento; and, of course, 24/7 technical support.

The company helps businesses reach new heights through personalized 24/7 support.

As these companies grow, they typically upgrade to more robust solutions, such as virtual or dedicated servers.

“We believe the only way in which a hosting company can survive is by growing with its customers and providing them everything they need to accomplish their goals, whether that’s building an ecommerce shop or presenting their company in the best light possible,” Ivan said.

No matter what size your company is or what solution you select, BGOcloud always puts the customer first. “The most frustrating response you can get from a hosting company is, ‘Hi, we’re working on the issue, and one of our representatives will get back to you shortly,’” Ivan said. “We try to avoid situations where the customer has to wait without knowing what’s going on.”

Secure, Redundant, and Scalable Solutions to Fit Diverse Needs

Ivan said BGOcloud is available around the clock to help customers with their unique needs. “Anytime you need help, or even just advice, give us a call, drop us a line, write us an email, and we will provide you with free consultancy which can help you to boost your business,” he said. “We don’t try to sell you everything — we only suggest the best tools that can help you to achieve what you want.”

BGOcloud upholds the same standards when it comes to performance. The company provides its services from a fully-owned Tier 3 datacenter in Sofia, Bulgaria, allowing for easy upkeep and troubleshooting, as well as the ability to modify and expand the infrastructure as needed.

“We have built a highly available service with no compromises on uptime, redundancy, networking speed, or server quality,” Ivan said. “We invest in powerful servers to help our customers to get the best performance for their websites and ecommerce shops.”

BGOcloud goes above and beyond to ensure customers are happy with their service.

To that end, BGOcloud offers a 99.9% uptime guarantee, excluding scheduled maintenance periods, as well as an unconditional 30-day satisfaction guarantee (though setup, domain name registration, SSL certificates, and other one-time fees are not refundable). The company also offers free migrations.

Ivan said BGOcloud is always willing to go the extra mile to make customers’ lives easier, whether that means providing the right security tools, offering managed hosting solutions, or creating customized solutions by working with parent company BGO software.

“Between our quality of service, quality of hardware, and willingness to provide individual attention to every customer, we strive to make our clients’ dreams come true,” he said.

Create, Route, and Secure an Anonymous Network with MikroTik

BGOcloud also provides focused tools geared toward network admins who have specific skill sets. For example, the company’s virtual MikroTik Cloud-Based Routers can be combined with VPS plans are a great start for skillful system administrators or solution architects to build a private cloud for their company.

“The idea behind the MikroTik Cloud-Based Routers was to start offering something unique, which can give us a competitive advantage and push us into a niche unoccupied by the big vendors,” Ivan said.

The MikroTik service is intended to provide a secure environment through which remote employees can connect to a company easily and securely. This provides them the freedom to work from any network and any country while ensuring a high level of security.

“Companies are increasingly concerned about the security of their personal data,” Ivan said. “We introduced the MikroTik service to help people stay anonymous. We’re noticing that the majority of our customers for this service are system administrators, network administrators, and IT professionals who want to use the internet without being tracked.”

Ivan said other trends, such as the rise of internet censorship in many countries around the globe, spurred the development of the MikroTik service. “The internet started as a free space where people could have equal rights and equal access to information no matter their location or the country where they were born,” he said. “Now we see a trend in which the internet is not such a free space.”

He pointed to the censorship of Wikipedia in multiple countries, including China, France, Iran, Pakistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Thailand, among other locations. Other governments, he said, even ban LinkedIn.

“This prevents people from joining the international community and effectively doing their jobs,” Ivan said. “With MikroTik Cloud Hosted Routers, MikroTik can be used as a VPN concentrator for building your own private network so you can access everything on the internet regardless of your location or the restrictions in your country.”

Up Next: Worldwide Expansion into International Markets

Next on BGOcloud’s agenda are plans for expansion into globally distributed markets. “At the moment we are mainly focused on Eastern and Central Europe, but we’d like to reach additional markets in Asia and the U.S.,” Ivan said.

The company is also looking for ways to continually improve its already robust customer service, adding additional value to ensure it stays at the top of its game. That includes reworking certain packages to ensure clients never pay for resources they don’t use.

“We’re always trying to enhance our VPS and cloud offerings while adding additional benefits and services,” Ivan said.

Considering Ivan’s passion for the hosting industry, that’s not too hard to believe.
