TL; DR: The HostingCon Europe conference is coming up: from September 22nd to the 23rd, in Amsterdam. Hosts, cloud services, hardware providers, and software developers raved about the networking opportunities of the inaugural European event last year, and this year brings new features, such as roundtable discussions and HostingCon Connect, to provide even more value for conference-goers.
HostingCon is the leading conference and trade show for web hosting and cloud industry professionals and is the only one of its kind dedicated solely to the interests of the industry experts. 2014 marked the event’s entrance into the European hosting and cloud network, featuring the first-ever HostingCon Europe.

After the tremendous feedback from the inaugural event last year, Penton has pulled together some exceptional new features and adjustments to make the HostingCon Europe 2015 event even more of a success.
“After a successful inaugural 2014 event, we are making several enhancements this year to make HostingCon Europe even better,” said Andy Grider, Marketing Manager at Penton.
With slashed prices, new interactive moderator-led small group discussions, and even more networking opportunities before, during, and after the event, the return of the world’s premier cloud and hosting trade show is one all tech junkies won’t want to miss.
When? Where? Who and Who Cares?
HostingCon is an industry event that originated solely to service the needs of the web hosting and cloud community. Speakers, panelists, and vendors attend to provide discussion and expertise focused on the trends and relevant issues of the hosting and cloud provider spheres.
HostingCon Europe will be hosted in Amsterdam, September 22-23, 2015.
Penton will be hosting the event again this year at the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam. For potential exhibitors, there are booth openings still available, so be sure to check out the floor plan on the HostingCon Europe website and reserve your spot.
The schedule of speakers has yet to be announced, but we can very excitedly reveal that the European Commission’s Head of Cloud Computing Pearse O’Donohue will be the featured keynote speaker for the event.
“We are thrilled to have such a prominent member of the European Commission speak at HostingCon in our second year in Europe,” said HostingCon Conference Chair Cheryl Kemp.
Introducing: Roundtable Discussions & HostingCon Connect
This year HostingCon Europe attendees will be invited to engage in moderator-facilitated small group discussions. These new interactive sessions will allow guests to share viewpoints and gain valuable insight from fellow hosting gurus. These roundtable discussions are an inventive new facet to the conference that will “encourage a hands-on approach to learning,” according to Andy.
HostingCon’s primary objective is to facilitate networking, communication, and ultimately growth across the web hosting community. This year the Amsterdam WHIR Networking Event will take place the evening of the final day of the conference, offering even more networking advantage to the guests of HostingCon Europe.
“Networking is also getting better with the addition of HostingCon Connect functionality, which facilitates email interaction between attendees prior to the conference,” Andy said.
As if networking at the event wasn’t enough, this year HostingCon Europe attendees can start connecting and communicating before they even step foot at the conference. HostingCon Connect allows guests to get in touch with one another before the event and even reserve a meeting time and space to continue the conversation at the conference.
