What types of payment does Wix accept?

Wix only accepts payment via credit or debit card. Users can pay by credit card with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners, and Union Pay. However, please note that UnionPay is not available to all Wix users.

Due to PCI compliance, Wix is unable to accept payment over the phone, as all calls are monitored and recorded.

Can I pay using PayPal?

No. Wix does not currently support payment via PayPal for any of its premium plans or other paid products.

Does Wix offer monthly billing?

Yes. Wix offers an option to be billed monthly instead of annually for its premium plans. However, there are no discounts on service available with monthly subscriptions. To enjoy the best savings, Wix’s yearly or two-year subscriptions are a much better bet.

How does domain pricing work?

Free domain registration is available to yearly subscribers who sign up for Wix’s Combo plan and higher pricing tiers. After the first year, users will have to pay an annual domain renewal fee in addition to the cost of their annual plan. Wix’s domain renewal/registration fees vary by country; however, they normally run between $14 and $20.

What is an uptime guarantee and does Wix offer one?

An uptime guarantee promises that a website will be available to welcome traffic a certain percentage of time each month. Wix offers a 99.9% uptime guarantee, which is right at the industry average.
