Key Takeaways
The final wave of the Web Developer Choice Awards is officially here, and in this round, we’re focusing on a very specific question: Which hosting companies have earned the trust?
Trust is one of the hardest things to measure and one of the easiest things to lose. After surveying 1,000 developers who use these platforms every day, we’ve finally arrived at the last three winners for these awards.
Without further ado, let’s see who took home the golds.
Best Customer Service: InMotion Hosting
Good customer service today is defined by partnership. That means that more than providing a service, good customer service is about proactive problem-solving and support.

When it comes to the developer’s choice, InMotion Hosting takes the win as the host with the Best Customer Service, rounding out its other awards for Best Reseller Provider and Best Dedicated Hosting Provider.
“We believe great customer service goes beyond solving problems. It is about being genuinely invested in our customers’ success,” John Joseph, Director of Customer Success at InMotion Hosting. “By showing up with deep expertise, real empathy, and a desire to thrill our customers at every interaction, we have built relationships based on trust, accessibility, and long-term partnership. I am incredibly proud of the team that makes that commitment every day.”
Customers can reach InMotion’s in-house web experts through 24/7 live chat with updated queue times, dedicated U.S. and UK phone lines, and a ticketing system. InMotion also has tons of support documentation and hubs backed by a deep knowledge base for issues that don’t need escalation.
Best Brand Reputation: Bluehost
Bluehost has been around for so long that its name feels almost unavoidable, especially for anyone who’s launched a website in the past two decades.

Plus, when the world’s largest CMS endorses a provider, people tend to pay attention. As WordPress’s official hosting partner, Bluehost has grown from a small startup in 2003 to a provider that now supports more than 5 million WordPress users worldwide and is one of the most recognizable names in web hosting.
It’s truly unsurprising that Bluehost has become a name developers, agencies, and small business owners already know, and the one they’re most comfortably and consistently recommending.
HostingAdvice reached out to Bluehost for comment but did not receive a response prior to publication.
Most Recommended Host: hosting.com
Recommendations have always traveled by word of mouth. The internet moves faster, and across forums, reviews, and developer surveys, hosting.com was the name that kept coming up as the Most Recommended Host.

Since its acquisition of A2 Hosting by World Host Group in early 2025, hosting.com has been on fire. Today, it hosts more than 700,000 customers and 3 million websites. It operates across more than 20 data centers, backed by a team of 900 employees across the globe. Its recent acquisition of Rocket.net also helped bump up its reputation as the small provider ranked #167 on the Inc. 5000 list this year.
“It’s truly an honor to receive this award as the most recommended hosting company,” said Ben Gabler, Chief Product Officer at hosting.com. “Since joining Hosting.com with the Rocket.net platform and team, we’ve doubled down on ensuring maximum customer success across the entire portfolio.”
Hosting.com has been the recipient of several other Web Developer Choice Awards, including Best VPS Provider, Best SSD Provider, Most Trusted Provider, Best Managed Hosting Provider, and Best Linux Hosting Provider.
And there’s more to look forward to, Gabler added: “We have some incredible things in store in 2026, and I could not be more excited for what’s to come.”
Until Next Year
This year’s Web Developer Choice Awards may be wrapped, but HostingAdvice will launch a new developer survey in early 2026 to jump-start the next series of awards. Some familiar names may return. Other names may surprise us. Until then, check out the full list of this year’s winners on the official awards homepage.
