Eliminate High Costs From Your Workflow Management With This Low-Code Automation Platform

Connect And Simplify Workflows With Low Code Automation Platform

TL; DR: Doing repetitive, mundane tasks can be a bummer. Instead of driving meaningful business action points, you’re losing valuable time on tedious processes. Enter Latenode. This low-code automation platform allows users to build automated workflows for everything from content creation to product development. Latenode takes a cost-effective and simple approach to automation, enabling you to save time and money to drive your business forward.

I think it’s safe to say that automation has improved my life — probably yours, too. Yeah, I may have yelled at my GPS a few too many times, but after it’s all said and done, I couldn’t live without it because it would have been much more of a pain to manually navigate a map.

Automation lends a similar helping hand to business workflows. Due to ongoing digitalization, teams are juggling various apps and tools to manage workflows throughout the workday. But as you onboard more tools and tasks, connecting and completing workflows can become a pain.

Implementing automation can help businesses streamline operations, so they can save time and money on mundane tasks. This way, automation takes care of the tedious work and you can focus on high-value duties. Latenode offers a low-code automation platform to help companies do just that.

“There’s this shift in mindset when you understand you don’t need to hire another person to do basic operations. If you can easily describe what exactly a person needs to do, you can describe it to the workflow automation platform,” said Daniel Vasilyeu, Chief Marketing Officer of Latenode.

Latenode can be especially impactful for businesses with smaller teams. You might not have the staffing power, knowledge, or resources to complete a variety of tasks your business requires. Leveraging Latenode can help you tackle those challenges without taking on higher costs.

Latenode also integrates with dozens of applications and services, so you can easily connect your tools, assign actions, and create full-fledged automated workflows and scenarios. If Latenode doesn’t have a specific app, you can request it and the team will have it ready in days.

Below, I’ll dive deeper into the Latenode platform, its unique features, and differentiators.

Automate Without Fear of Cost or Complexity

After successfully creating two multimillion-dollar businesses, founding duo Pavel Sparrow and Oleg Zankov launched Latenode in 2022. They created the platform out of necessity. At the time, they had explored different no-code tools and couldn’t find the right fit for their team.

Launching Latenode allowed Pavel and Oleg to own and offer a low-code environment where users could streamline their tasks, save resources, and conserve time to focus on more important action points. It also provides other benefits.

Teams navigate and use several different applications to manage their operations. Connecting these apps and automating the tasks involved can help increase efficiency. But the problem is many popular automation platforms make users pay for every step within their automated scenarios. Latenode solves this problem.

“More and more processes are going digital. One of the problems with the most popular solutions on the market right now is that they charge for each step in your workflow. We don’t charge for every action, we charge for processing time,” said Daniel.

You pay a monthly fee and receive a set limit of scenario executions per account. For example, Latenode’s Start plan is $17 a month and provides users with up to 10,000 scenario execution credits. Each credit accounts for 30 seconds of automation, so you can execute as many actions as you want within that time frame.

Configuring your workflows is also simple with Latenode. It allows teams to set up and customize automated scenarios with only a few clicks. And if you don’t want to take my word for it, check out Latenode’s interactive demo on its homepage.

AI CoPilot Helps You Build Code Like a Pro

Daniel told us Latenode’s AI copilot helps reduce the skill gap between tech-savvy and non-technical people. Even as a marketing specialist himself, he often uses the AI copilot to address his own coding challenges and create code.

“The thing is, you don’t need to know any programming languages because there is a window with an AI code copilot that you can use to build workflows even without programming experience,” said Daniel.

Daniel said Latenode’s AI copilot simplifies two major challenges: creating integrations from scratch and data transformation. Starting with integration building, Latenode enables you to build custom integrations if the app you want isn’t in its established library.

All you have to do is type “add script to my code” in the AI chatbox. That will create a Trello card and then the AI copilot will instruct you where to type in your API key, the generated code, and the name of the card. Just like that, your problem is solved.

“With the help of a platform like ours, it’s possible to not only generate code but also to use code. Code is not soulless lines of symbols, it’s a problem solver,” said Daniel.

Latenode’s copilot allows you to generate code and shows you how to use it to minimize complexity. Since different systems have different formats, transferring data can be difficult. Latenode helps users match data formats within their workflow systems, so they can easily transform data without any hitches in the process.

For example, you have information in a Google Sheet that you have to input into your automated workflow. Once you transfer it to the Airtable or the action node, it rejects the data because it’s not in the right format. You don’t know how to fix the problem, so you go to your AI copilot for help.

“You can alert the AI assistant, give it the data from the previous node, and say, ‘I need to adapt this data for a new table record that fits date format,’ and it just works,” said Daniel.

A standout feature of Latenode’s AI copilot is that it can help users through their automation journey. Instead of having a singular AI capability, it waits on standby to solve a variety of issues users might run into.

Plug and Play With Latenode API

The Latenode team has plans to add more AI capabilities to its platform, starting with extending the AI copilot’s features.

“We have plans to make our AI copilot even more powerful than it is now. So it will understand the whole context of the previous node data structure from the first trigger,” said Daniel.

Daniel also mentioned other AI capabilities the team currently offers. He highlighted the fact that Latenode provides access to multiple AI models that aren’t as accessible as OpenAI models, for instance.

“If you need an API key from OpenAI, you can join the developer portal, and you got it. Nowadays, there are more powerful AI models for specific use cases, such as classifying images or summarizing text. But they are hidden from the public eye so it’s not easily accessible,” said Daniel.

He said high barriers to entry for AI models can cause teams to lose a lot of valuable time just to gain access. This is why Latenode provides an API, which allows people to leverage these AI models as plug-and-play solutions.

Latenode’s API set-up is easy to configure. Daniel said users only need to choose the AI model, find the exact settings, and connect the APIs.

“We actually don’t make money from our API. It’s just for the popularization of AI in automation. We want to reduce this initial barrier so people can get value from some AI models, and it has been great,” said Daniel.

Explore Automation With Latenode’s Discord Community

Businesses can use Latenode to automate anything, from content creation to product fulfillment. Its scenarios include triggers, action nodes, responses, and custom code modules. This way, you can customize and automate your workflow at every step of your processes.

If you don’t know much about automation, Daniel recommends that you check out the Latenode website and community.

“Latenode is the perfect place to gain this knowledge because we have an extremely open and responsive community in our Discord server. And for me, it’s a pleasure to see our users helping each other,” said Daniel.

Latenode’s Discord community is an organized space for people to bring their questions and discuss the platform and automation. Daniel said automation is fun and should be leveraged for manual and repetitive tasks, so teams can save time and boost productivity.

“It’s worth it to explore this skill because now you not only can automate processes but you can also build products faster. The concept that applies to automation also applies to development in general. And we have seen cases where our users create products in two months,” said Daniel.
